Google Ads for home decor brands

Most Google Ads strategies weren't built for home decor brands.
Ours was.

Home decor is bought slowly. Shoppers search by room, style and material, compare across weeks and devices, and weigh the delivery cost before they commit. We build feeds, Shopping, Performance Max, Search and measurement around how furniture and decor actually get bought.

Home decor brands rarely lose on Google because of bids.
They lose to marketplaces with better feeds.

Furniture and decor wrapped and packed for delivery
Bulky orders, fragile products, real margins. Your campaigns have to account for all three.

Why home decor accounts underperform

Three problems account for almost
every account we audit.

Titles written for people, not for search

Shoppers type “oak dining table 180cm” or “cream boucle accent chair”. A feed that says “The Nordic Table” never matches. Material, size, colour and style have to live in the product title.

ResultInvisible for the searches that actually buy.

Shipping that loses the sale

Bulky items need shipping costs and delivery times set properly in Merchant Center. Get it wrong and listings are disapproved, or shoppers meet the delivery fee at checkout and leave.

ResultPaid clicks that abandon at checkout.

Measured like an impulse buy

A sofa is researched for weeks across phone and desktop. Short attribution windows credit the final branded search and starve the Shopping and Performance Max campaigns that found the buyer.

ResultThe campaigns that find buyers get cut.

How it works

Four steps. Nothing launches until
the one before it is clean.

1

Feed & account audit

We audit titles, attributes, shipping settings, account structure and conversion tracking against how your category gets searched.

2

Rebuild the foundation

Feed rebuilt, shipping and delivery times corrected and attribution set before we spend a single euro.

3

Launch & defend

Campaigns go live in sequence, split by room and margin. Brand defence sits in place from day one.

4

Optimise & scale

Weekly optimisation moves budget into what converts, with seasonal peaks planned months ahead, not the week before.

Before the call

The questions home decor brands
always ask first.

Can we compete with Wayfair, Amazon and IKEA on Shopping?

Not on price across the board, and you don't need to. You win the searches where you're the better answer: specific materials, styles and sizes that marketplaces list generically. We build the feed and campaigns to own those, and stop paying for broad terms marketplaces will always outbid you on.

Our products are expensive. Does Google Ads still work?

Yes, if it's measured properly. High-ticket decor takes weeks and several visits to convert. We set attribution windows and reporting so the campaigns that start those journeys get the credit, instead of being cut for looking unprofitable in week one.

Should our Shopping images be lifestyle shots or plain backgrounds?

Both, each in the right place. The main product image needs to show the product clearly, with no promotional text or watermarks. Room and lifestyle shots go in as additional images, where they help the sale without risking disapprovals.

How long before we see results?

Shopping and Search visibility usually moves within 30 days. Home decor buying cycles are longer than most, so expect sales to compound over 60 to 90 days as conversion data builds.

How is pricing structured?

A percentage of managed ad spend, agreed after the free audit once we know your catalogue and current account state. No long-term contract. Account access stays yours.

Is the call a sales pitch?

It's an audit. We open the account, show you what we find and put it in writing. If we're not the right fit we say so on the call.
