Disapprovals you don't see coming
One ingredient on Google's unapproved substances list, or a claim like “cures” or “guaranteed weight loss” in a title, and products get disapproved. Across a big catalogue it happens quietly, product by product.
Google Ads for supplement brands
Google treats supplements as a restricted category. Ingredients are checked against its unapproved substances list, health claims trigger disapprovals, and one misrepresentation flag can suspend Merchant Center. We build compliant feeds, Shopping, Performance Max and Search, then measure on what a customer is worth, not their first order.
30 minutes. You leave with a written breakdown of what's costing you money in your account and what it's worth to fix. No pitch deck.

Supplement brands rarely lose on Google because of bids.
They lose on what they're allowed to say.
Client results
These two come from a home decor account and an apparel account, labelled as such. The feed, policy and measurement work underneath them is the same work a supplement account needs. Every figure is a screenshot from the client's own Shopify analytics.

Why supplement accounts underperform
One ingredient on Google's unapproved substances list, or a claim like “cures” or “guaranteed weight loss” in a title, and products get disapproved. Across a big catalogue it happens quietly, product by product.
Before-and-after promises, unclear returns, missing business details or prices that don't match checkout all read as misrepresentation. Health products are reviewed more strictly than most categories.
A supplement customer's value arrives on the second, third and sixth order. Campaigns judged on first-order ROAS look unprofitable and get cut, even when they bring in the repeat buyers who pay for everything else.
What we manage
Each piece helps on its own. Run together they compound.

Before you book
If you don't match this, the call won't be worth your time and we'll say so.
How it works
We check ingredients, claims, landing pages, feed and tracking against Google's healthcare and misrepresentation policies.
Claims rewritten, feed corrected and Merchant Center issues resolved before we spend a single euro.
Campaigns go live in sequence with brand defence from day one. Every new product is checked before it enters the feed.
Weekly optimisation on customer value, not just first-order ROAS, so we scale what brings in repeat buyers.

Before the call
Often, yes. We find the specific cause, usually claims, missing business or returns information, or price mismatches, fix it on the site and in the feed, then request review. We don't request review before the cause is fixed, because repeated rejections add waiting time before you can ask again.
No one can. If an ingredient is on Google's unapproved substances list, that product can't be advertised on Google. We'll tell you on the call which products are affected, so budget goes to the ones that can run.
Yes, within limits. You can describe ingredients, use and benefits accurately. What gets disapproved is claims of cures, guaranteed results and unrealistic outcomes. We rewrite copy so it stays persuasive and passes review.
We connect first orders to what those customers go on to spend, then use that value in reporting and bidding, including Google's new customer acquisition settings where they fit. It usually changes which campaigns look profitable.
If the account needs policy work, that comes first, usually the opening few weeks. Once it's clean, Shopping and Search visibility typically moves within 30 days, compounding over 60 to 90 days.
A percentage of managed ad spend, agreed after the free audit once we know your catalogue and current account state. No long-term contract. Account access stays yours.
It's an audit. We open the account, show you what we find and put it in writing. If we're not the right fit we say so on the call.
